About The Team: The Voyager team in Anduril Industries is an engineering and design division with a vast experience in developing innovative computing and communications solutions for the network edge. The team specializes in integrating enterprise networking capabilities from global IT leaders with purpose-built hardware and software platforms designed to meet market demands for the most stringent of environmental requirements. We are seeking a Manufacturing, Quality & Test Engineer to join our Quality & Test team in Dublin. This role will be responsible for ensuring that we are testing our systems to stringent standards ensuring that we are consistently shipping the highest quality products to our customers. Additionally you will ensure that we are able to meet the required throughput requirements of production. In this role you’ll need to think creatively and come up with solutions to solve difficult testing problems and push to continuously improve our methods of automation, throughput, user interfaces, and data analytics. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain advanced LabVIEW applications for production testing solutions. • Interface LabVIEW with SQL/ Linux databases for data storage and retrieval. • Configure and manage Linux-based servers for computer hardware test applications. • Interface with devices and systems using serial communication protocols. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware test solutions into medium volume production environments. • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for LabVIEW, SQL, Linux, RS232, and electronics-related issues. • Advanced Python programming for automation and scripting tasks and Microcontroller programming. • Work with Design, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams to support customer returns and failure analysis. • Contribute feedback to early-stage test design for test processes supporting early-stage products (NPI). • Analyze test data, document results, and provide detailed reports to identify defects and areas for improvement. • Collaborate with design engineers to provide feedback and recommendations for product enhancements based on test outcomes. • Optimize test strategies for efficiency and effectiveness, reducing test time without compromising quality. • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance testing processes and methodologies. Key Skills • Strong proficiency in SQL database management. • Strong proficiency in Labview programming. • Familiarity with Python programming for automation and scripting. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Effective communication and collaboration abilities. • Ability to analyse Production Test results and perform SPC analysis and familiarity with GR&R studies considered an advantage. Required Qualifications and Experience • Minimum Level 6 Qualification in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience. • In-depth knowledge of high speed serial communication protocols and networks. • Proven experience in LabVIEW development for 5+ years. • Extensive experience with Linux-based systems and administration. • Experience in microcontroller programming. • A background in electronics is considered an advantage. • Experience of Production Test Fixture commissioning. • Experience of CISCO router and switches considered an advantage. • Software Revision control using GIT is an advantage. • Experience using AWS services such as RDS and EC2 would be beneficial • Familiar with Product Life Cycle (PLM) systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Test Execution Systems (TES) The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
