We aim to achieve this by cultivating a work environment where all team members belong and have the opportunity to thrive.</p> <p>We are looking for a high-impact Legal Operations Program Manager to join our expanding Legal Operations Team and sit at the center of our mergers &amp; acquisitions (M&amp;A) and post-close integration activity! This is a strategy-to-execution role that serves as the operating backbone for Legal across our most strategic transactions — owning legal integration execution in partnership with Lyft’s Corporate Development Integration Management Office (IMO), and the intake and governance layer that connects the Legal team to deal and integration work. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, detail oriented, proactive, and able to drive outcomes across multiple concurrent transactions in ambiguous, high-stakes environments with a collaborative and transparent approach. Some key areas include: M&amp;A integration program management, program leadership across concurrent initiatives, cross-functional and deal team engagement, outside counsel and vendor management across jurisdictions, legal entity management and governance, and building the repeatable operating model that scales Legal integration with company growth. This position reports to the Head of Legal Operations.</p> <p>As the company scales, the volume and complexity of strategic transactions — M&amp;A, cross-border expansion, and new market entry — continues to increase. This role establishes a centralized operating model for Legal integration that ensures:</p> <ul> <li>Strategic transactions are executed with discipline, completeness, and a clear critical path</li> <li>Legal is embedded early and effectively, with strong planning-to-execution across multiple teams to deliver strong business results and manage risk</li> <li>The organization scales without accumulating operational, compliance, or technical debt</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>M&amp;A Integration Program Management</strong> <ul> <li>Own end-to-end legal integration across global acquisitions, from integration strategy during diligence through post-close, in partnership with Corporate Development’s Integration Management Office (IMO)</li> <li>Build integrated legal roadmaps with clear dependencies and critical path, and stand up governance, reporting, and escalation frameworks for each transaction</li> <li>Prepare and lead leadership readouts on the legal integration status of deals in scope</li> <li>Implement value-realization and risk-retirement tracking, and codify repeatable legal integration playbooks to improve speed, quality, and predictability</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Program Leadership &amp; Execution</strong> <ul> <li>Act as the control tower across concurrent transactions and initiatives, ensuring legal work is resourced, sequenced, and prioritized appropriately across teams</li> <li>Build and manage integrated plans, milestones, and KPIs, and drive execution across multiple complex, cross-functional workstreams simultaneously</li> <li>Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, holding teams accountable while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships</li> <li>Maintain high-quality documentation, decision logs, and scalable processes</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Cross-Functional Engagement &amp; Deal Support</strong> <ul> <li>Partner across Corporate Development, Finance, People, Tax, Security &amp; Privacy, and the business to understand deal and product integration plans and identify impacts on Legal processes, systems, and organization</li> <li>Support diligence and signing-to-close workstreams, including data room logistics, tracking conditions to close, and managing transaction document repositories</li> <li>Coordinate a hub-and-spoke model that maps acquired legal teams and matters to the appropriate Lyft Legal functional owners, surfacing risks and tradeoffs early</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Outside Counsel / Vendor Management</strong> <ul> <li>Work cross-functionally with Legal, Procurement, and Accounting to manage outside counsel and vendor relationships for deal and integration matters, including engagement agreements, alternative fee arrangements, associated budgets, compliance with billing guidelines, and related internal and external communications</li> <li>Manage multi-jurisdictional and cross-border engagements (including U.S., UK, EU, and Nordic counsel), partnering closely with our Legal Operations eBilli
